We are certified as a Level I pediatric and adult trauma center. Patients receive state-of-the-art care in an environment that promotes comfort and healing. We serve a broad range of patient populations, including trauma, cardiology, internal medicine, psychiatry, surgical and medical, burn, stroke care, and critical care. Regions Hospital is part of the HealthPartners family of care.<br/><br/>In 2009, with the addition of the Hospital?s new South Section, we expanded our Pharmacy services as part of our commitment to patient-centered care. Our progressive services now include:<br/>? Inpatient Pharmacy services - Inpatient distribution, Decentralized Clinical Pharmacy (functioning as part of the interdisciplinary team on the nursing units), Oncology Infusion Center and a new OR Satellite Pharmacy.<br/>? 340B Outpatient Pharmacy services - Hospital Discharge, clinic and employee prescriptions, Telepharmacy services delivered to an offsite Same Day Surgery Center and a new ED Retail Pharmacy.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities:</b><br/>To plan, implement and evaluate all professional, technical, and financial aspects of our pharmaceutical programs and services in line with Regions Hospital?s goals for enhanced patient safety, best practices implementation  and exceptional patient experience. This includes coordinating  services/needs in collaboration with other departments/areas; developing and implementing long/short term goals and objectives for pharmaceutical services; personnel management; financial management, and maintaining compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications:</b><br><br><br/>Bachelor?s degree or Pharm. D degree from an accredited institution.  Advanced degree preferred. Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist by the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy<br/>Six years of pharmacy experience, five of which must be in a hospital environment.  Five years of management experience. Strong financial management skills.<br/><br/>Working knowledge of The Joint Commission, DHS, OSHA, 340B, state and federal laws, and other regulatory standards and procedures. Strong leadership skills including critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal skills, team building, conflict management, and communication skills. You'll work with key departmental leaders in adult and pediatric multisystem trauma, burn, complex ortho trauma, and complex spine/head trauma.  You'll develop the business plan for Outstate  services, provide marketing oversight, and effectively manage account relationships with key health care organizations and hospitals.
